Nestled in the small community of West Brownsville, not too far from the banks of the Monongahela River, is a church that is special to our family - The Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church. This is the church my husband's grandparents attended and it is where his father was baptised. This morning, we took my father-in-law back to the church where he spent so many of his Sundays. Our daughters sat in the pews where their ancestors sat. They were able to admire the ornate details of the icons as they breathed in the thick smoke of the incense that filled the air of the church, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
